Political Website Coordinator

This position is for highly motivated individuals with an interest in developing technical skills regarding website maintenance. Our digital team is based out of the Washington D.C. Metro Area and this position will be staffed for the 2020 campaign season.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Support Vote.GOP operations through building and maintaining a calendar of election dates, managing its day-to-day status, and updating voting locations database. 
  • Prepare, review, and update election related information for legal review and tech team implementation on Vote.GOP. 
  • QA all user workflows to ensure that they are accurate and displaying properly. 
  • Regularly review and promote Vote.GOP’s performance to stakeholders. 
  • Strategize improvements to Vote.GOP procedures and documentation. 
  • Identify necessary development work and prepare materials for our tech liaison. 

Job Requirements: 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail. 
  • Proven problem-solving ability. 
  • Developed understating of modern politics. Background in campaign work is a plus. 
  • Strong competencies in analytics, time management and Microsoft Office. 
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritize heavy workloads.
